“True Yoga points us towards a wordless, embodied and body-ful experience of our Selves, an experience of our own essense nature, of our connection with all that is, an experience which is ultimately named Love.”

True words of wise yogis have paradoxically pointed us towards this wordless Yoga, towards this practice, towards this Love, for thousands of years. Meet one of the world’s latest yogic magicians, Satu Tuomela.

In her teachings, Satu bridges these two truths seemingly effortlessly, gently, lovingly, and fiercely, using words which are somehow also wordless, sounds which are somehow also soundless and and time as though it were timeless ; her cadence, her intonation, her questions, her gestures emanate into the room, somehow weaving themselves together to then land gently in our Bodies, to guide us into a fully embodied experience of our Selves, to our own great Heart, a Heart which lives in and speaks to us from every cell of our bodies and in every breath we take, and is connected to every thing.

She is an alchemist, living in and speaking from her own deeply felt connection to the great ocean of consciousness, the Heart, the Center Center, she transmutes seemingly mundane energy, space and time into a sacred, healing vibration within the body, warmly and compellingly inviting you to explore and experience the profound flow of life, of energy, of Qi, streaming through you, as you, in every moment of the practice, and beyond.

She is a shaman, using her harmonium, her voice, her touch, her poetic language and her music to transport you into a deeper layer of your Self, your embodied Self, where you can tap into your own healing energies.

She is a virtuoso, her classes intuively and intelligently curated from a deep well of insight, wisdom and creativity, offering an integrated experience between body, mind and spirt.

For anyone seeking a true practice of yoga, she is the real deal. Period. What a gift to all beings. Om.

“For many years I dreamt of doing a yoga teacher training but did not want to jump into one unless I fully believed it was right for me and shared the values I wanted to further as a teacher and movement practitioner.”

When I found Satu’s training, I somehow intuitively and instinctively knew it was right for me. The combination and incorporation of somatic practices, authentic movement, embodiment and philosophy is something that drew me to sign up to the Authentic Flow teacher training. But oh my was the training so much more than just learning about these elements…

For me, teacher training was an incredibly intense and deeply cathartic experience. It emptied and opened my heart in so many ways. Through meditation, mantra, morning practice, conversation and lecture, we were guided to discover ourselves as teachers, as yoga and movement practitioners, as human beings, as consciousness trying to understand itself through us. It was amazing to experience and witness how the group became extremely connected already during the first week. In the training I felt and witnessed so many moments of magic, of being connected to something greater, to all that is.

We absorbed a huge amount of information and knowledge during a short period of time, however Satu and the rest of the team made us feel extremely supported and held through all of it. It felt less about learning asana (although we did learn that too), and more about finding our truest and most authentic voice as teachers in order to guide other people into finding their embodiment and their authentic selves through our classes.

Satu inspires me and many other yoga teachers and students with her intelligently and beautifully crafted classes and explorations that further embodiment and push us to find knowledge within ourselves. What she shares - her embodied knowledge, poetic language, extreme honesty, the way she holds space - guides us to become connected to our selves in every way. There is no bullshit here. This is the true practice of yoga. I would definitely recommend Satu’s workshops, trainings and classes to everyone. Thank you thank you thank you.
